Maybe this democracy thing isn’t such a good idea…people like the woman captured below on video vote. Fortunately, prayer is highly unreliable as a means to change events, so her husband may, in fact, use his own brain and judgment. We can only hope…
Lovely to see her basis of decision – “His parents weren’t Christian, so, despite his personal profession of faith and the path he walked to decide to embrace Christianity – rather than thoughtlessly accepting it as a life-long indoctrination – I reject his as a fellow believer.”
And her assessment of Obama’s church is equally open-hearted.
I wonder how much community service she’s put in this week. This month. This year. I wonder how every action in her life reflects a spirit of generosity and love for her neighbors. What I hear in this sound bite doesn’t sound encouraging – more like judgemental. By their fruit you shall know them – and this one’s plenty fruity.
Her last sentence sums it up – her husband knows the right choice. Let’s hope he does, and that it cancels out her blind bias.
Yeah, but he is married to her. How do feel about the concept of faith? I feel the definition of faith is belief in something which cannot be proven using scientific inquiry. For instance, I have faith in love.
