LOS ANGELES (Reuters) — Tesla Motors’ all-electric Roadster sports car will start rolling out to nearly 600 buyers lined up for the $100,000 vehicle by October or November, after a slight delay, the company’s chief said on Tuesday.

“We will definitely ship in that time frame,” CEO and co-founder Martin Eberhard told Reuters at a meeting of the Motor Press Guild, noting that the company had originally expected to begin deliveries during the summer.

“If I sell 10,000 White Stars (Tesla’s $65k family car,) it will be a screaming success for me,” he said. “But 10,000 Chevys sold would be a disaster.”

    News Flash 08/03/07 – Here’s just a few of the vehicles I was able to find HAFC Kit results for: 95 Ford F150=33mpg, 06 Mazda(4x module)=92mpg, 02 Plymouth Breeze=77mpg, 06 Honda Accord=75mpg, Hundai Accent=80mpg, Toyota Corolla=75mpg and … it seems mileage gets better over time ! These kits were all installed at the Master Mech. classes in NJ. (There was also a 05 Cadillac and an 06 Toyota Camry that showed very little improvement … that’s when we found out about the AFR sensors.) We will have Master Optimizer soon that works on any Vehicle in the World
