Many of you probably use Google Maps, I do. Recently, I ran across this screen shot of directions from a Google Map on how to get from New York, New York to Paris, France. Ever dutiful, the program delivers results – but I sure hope the person taking the trip read the directions. See the image below….

One of the things I’m intrigued by is user interface design, the simpler the better. This is an interesting way to represent the passage of time in a simple, but highly informative user interface.

Finally you can buy tape with personality. I don’t know how we survived without it! Another great gift to get for the person who has everything, because you can be sure, they don’t already have python tape…

In the pantheon of Jackass inspired hijinx, this one isn’t so bad until you realize this is happening after 5 years of effort and untold billions of dollars to make our country “safe from terrorism.” I’m guessing the Virginia DMV isn’t all that enthusiastic about the implications of this prank…
