Yesterday, an associate of mine, Bruce Turner (of TurnerBuilt,) shared photos that he took from his boat during the Mavericks Surf Contest last weekend. I asked Bruce if he minded if I shared the pictures here and he graciously agreed. An aside, Bruce built our house and it’s marvelous – if you’re ever looking for high quality building work, I recommend Bruce without reservation (and that recommendation was not a condition of posting the photos, it’s sincere and unsolicited.) What a cool blog site! Thanks for the kind words, much appreciated. We could not have asked for a nicer day with gorgeous weather and good surf. The waves that morning were really good and then as the day went on they started to loose their punch. But a tide swing or something caused an amazing 7 wave set for the finals. This really made for a great event.
