During that walk on Valencia Street, we came upon a store called <a href=\"https:\/\/www.paxtongate.com\/toc.html\" target=\"_blank\" >Paxton Gate<\/a>. I now know the answer to the following questions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Where might one find a gemsbok horn?<br \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/montaraventures.com\/pix\/gemsbok.jpg\" alt=\"Photo of African Gemsbok\" \/><\/li>\n<li>I desparately need a trilobite, do you know where I could find one?<br \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/montaraventures.com\/pix\/trilobite.jpg\" alt=\"Photo of fossilized trilobite from Morocco\" \/><\/li>\n<li>The thing that&#8217;s missing in the living room is a wildebeest head, where might you find that?<br \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/montaraventures.com\/pix\/wildebeest.jpg\" alt=\"Photo of a mounted wildebeest head\" \/><\/li>\n<li>Forget Altoids, what about curiously strong peppermint tea?<br \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/montaraventures.com\/pix\/cupoftea.jpg\" alt=\"Photo of a cup of tea on a table with a plaid table cloth\" \/><\/li>\n<li>Pyrite, I definitely need some pyrite&#8230;<br \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/montaraventures.com\/pix\/pyrite.jpg\" alt=\"Photo of a clump of pyrite in raw matrix form.\" \/><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Suffice to say, this store has all of that and more (even garden variety house plants&#8230;) It&#8217;s a place to feed your inner geek if you&#8217;re a biologist, taxidermist, geologist,  gardener, or just generally interested in a collection of very interesting and cool stuff in one convenient location.
