But recently I was sent a list that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.officeslang.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" >compiles some of the more entertaining geek slang<\/a> that&#8217;s been in use over the years. A couple of them were new to me, they might be to you too&#8230;<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<b>Assmosis<\/b> &#8211; The process by which some people seem to absorb success and advancement by kissing up to the boss rather than working hard.<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<b>Blamestorming<\/b> &#8211; A group discussion of why a deadline was missed or a project failed and who was responsible.<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<b>Dorito Syndrome<\/b> &#8211; The feeling of emptiness and dissatisfaction triggered by addictive substances that lack nutritional content. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153I just spent six hours surfing the Web, and now I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve got a bad case of Dorito Syndrome.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<b>Ohnosecond<\/b> &#8211; That minuscule fraction of time during which you realize you\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve just made a terrible error.<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<b>Swiped Out<\/b> &#8211; An ATM or credit card that has been used so much its magnetic strip is worn away.<br \/>\n<br \/>\nIf you&#8217;ve got others you like, leave them in the comments.
