\nIt couldn’t happen to a nicer guy Senator Craig<\/a>. I don’t think anyone is buying the “wide stance” defense and due to your espoused public views on family values and homosexuals, you have to expect you’re going to take your lumps. It’s a shame really that you couldn’t find the courage to live your life in a kind and compassionate way, a way that is consistent with your secret yearnings. It is a disgrace that you lived a double life leading on your family and persecuting that which you are – a gay man. There’s nothing wrong with being gay in and of itself. But being gay and attacking gays is simply insane – that won’t make you less gay.

\nMr. Craig, you are a coward and a hypocrite. And, you deserve the fallout from this scandal. As a human, I hope you learn some humility from this experience and that you’re able to spend some time to understand yourself and live a life that’s not a lie. As a cynic, I fear that this will only serve to entrench your hypocrisy.

\nJust remember, this wasn’t the newspaper in Idaho’s fault, it wasn’t the arresting officer’s fault, it was your fault. The combination of a “wide stance” and a narrow mind have done you in.
