Everyone will talk about his famous novels, but I preferred his first <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Player_Piano\">Player Piano<\/a> and a zany novel that came a little later, <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Deadeye_Dick\">Deadeye Dick<\/a>. I can&#8217;t claim to like all of his work, but he did have a voice that was distinct and compelling.
