It&#8217;s a filter for comment spam and boy does it work. To date, 74.9% of the comments submitted to this blog are spam. <a href=\"https:\/\/akismet.com\/\">Akismet<\/a> catches them, corrals them, and deletes them automatically. All I have to do is skim them to see if there are any false positive hits (there have been 3 instances in the 4 months I&#8217;ve used the utility.)<br \/>\n<br \/>\nTake it from me, <a href=\"https:\/\/akismet.com\/\">Akismet<\/a> is a real time saver and aggrevation avoider.
