		<description>Hotlinking is also just stupid and dangerous.  Even the rude and selfish blogger shouldn't hotlink for purely personal reasons:

- The hosting site may go down, remove or rename the link.  Now your blog/article/story is missing its picture.

- The hosting site may change the link.  A malicious could change the image to something embarrassing.  The site may also recycle names (masthead.jpg) so you might just have a confusing image now.

Getting back to etiquette, the hotlinker is stealing some bandwidth and possible ad revenue if there is no return link.

Finally, some sites (like flickr) don't allow hotlinking without an appropriate link back to the hosting site.</description>
